Baptized By The Spirit

Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

**1 Corinthians 12:13** states:  

**"For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit."**

### **Baptized by the Spirit**

   - This is not referring to water baptism but the work of the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation.  
   - When a person believes in Jesus, the Holy Spirit unites them with the "body of Christ" (the church).

   - The verse emphasizes that this baptism transcends all earthly distinctions like ethnicity, social status, or nationality.  
   - All believers, regardless of background, are equal members of Christ's body.  

3. **Drinking of the Spirit**:
