Grace and peace to you, my beloved brethren, I write to you with a heart filled with love and an earnest desire for your salvation. In my prayers to the Lord, I find myself continually interceding for you, that you may come to know the depth of God's grace and the righteousness found in Christ Jesus. "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved." (Romans 10:1, KJV) This verse encapsulates the fervent longing within my soul—a longing for the salvation of my fellow Israelites. As I lift my petitions to the Almighty, I implore Him to extend His mercy and grace to you, that you may experience the transformative power of Christ's salvation. "For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge." (Romans 10:2, KJV) I bear witness to your zeal for God, a passion that reflects a genuine pursuit of the divine. However, I also recognize that this zeal must be aligned with true knowledge—the knowledge that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not through our works or external observances that we attain righteousness, but through faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross. "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." (Romans 10:3, KJV) There exists a danger in seeking to establish our own righteousness apart from God. If we remain ignorant of the righteousness that God freely offers through faith in Christ, we may inadvertently attempt to secure our own salvation through human efforts and works. Yet, it is through humble submission to the righteousness of God that true salvation is found. "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth." (Romans 10:4, KJV) In this powerful declaration, I emphasize that Christ is the culmination, the fulfillment of the law for righteousness. Through faith in Him, the demands of the law are satisfied, and righteousness is imputed to everyone who believes. It is not through the adherence to legalistic practices but through a genuine, faith-filled relationship with Christ that righteousness is bestowed. My dear brethren, my heart's desire and prayer for you echo the sentiments expressed in these verses. I pray that you may not only possess zeal for God but that this zeal may be guided by true knowledge—the knowledge of God's righteousness revealed in Christ Jesus. May you not be ignorant of this righteousness, and may you not seek to establish your own apart from God. Instead, submit yourselves humbly to the righteousness offered freely through faith in Christ. Understand that Christ is the ultimate fulfillment of the law, bringing righteousness to all who believe. As you embark on this journey of faith, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ accompany you, leading you to a profound experience of salvation and righteousness in Him. In Christ's love and with a heart full of prayers, Apostle Paul
