As I write to you, my thoughts are filled with gratitude for the sincere faith that dwells within you, a faith that has been passed down through the generations and has been kindled by the Holy Spirit. In 2 Timothy 1:7-10, we find these words of encouragement and exhortation: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner, but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the Gospel according to the power of God, who hath saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death and hath brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel." Remember that the spirit dwelling within you is not one of fear, but one of power, love, and a sound mind, bestowed upon you by our gracious God. It is this spirit that equips you to fulfill your calling and purpose in Christ. Do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of my own imprisonment for His sake. Rather, embrace the afflictions and challenges that come with proclaiming the Gospel, knowing that God's power will sustain you. This calling and grace were ordained not according to our deeds, but by God's divine purpose and grace, given to us through Christ Jesus before the world's foundation. It is now revealed in Christ's coming, as He has conquered death and illuminated the path to eternal life through the Gospel. As you continue your ministry, hold fast to your faith, teach the truth of the Gospel(1 Corinthiansn 15:1-4), and do not waver in the face of trials. The power, love, and sound mind that God has given you will guide you, and the hope of eternal life in Christ will be your anchor. I long to see you again, and until then, remember to fan into flames the gift of God that is within you. Stand firm in the faith and let nothing deter you from the path set before you. May the grace and peace of our Savior Jesus Christ be your constant companion. In Christ's love, Apostle Paul
